Swing clamp with swivel stroke
If the swing clamp has pressure applied on connection A, first the piston rotates downward along a screw-shaped groove. After the rotational movement the linear clamping stroke is done up to the end position. the total stroke of the clamp is made up of the swivel stroke and linear. This stroke is different depending on the size of the swing clamp.
When releasing the function is executed exactly in reverse. The piston first moves in the axial direction upward and first begins afterwards its screw-shaped rotation back into the initial position.
